I would definitely read another book in this series with these characters. The characters are so well developed and it feels like every page lets them grow and evolve even more. I really enjoy R.A. Salvatore’s work, his stories and continuation of this plot is amazing, using details from as far back as the first in the series to support current events and themes in his newer books. Throughout the series one character has been a constant force of good, in a world of corrupt people and evil beings, he is mistreated and tempted with evil his entire young life and he still becomes one of the best symbols of what is good in the world and that no matter what anyone tries to force on us we choose our own path. I would invite the main character home for dinner because he is an excellent role model and the parents would be impressed that I was hanging out with such a perfect example of pure good.

If I had my choice of any superpower I would choose to have the ability to control and manipulate water, the base for all life in the palm of my hand.  I could extinguish the worst fires in a matter of seconds, create the perfect winter wonderland, or turn an average water park into a legendary experience for the whole family. Ridding the world of pests, mosquitoes, weeds, and disease carrying rodents would become little more than a Sunday chore. No opponent would ever stand against me because I could pull every drop of water from their body and then use it to wash the resulting sand into the storm drain. The power to enhance life, or ruin it. But perhaps I shouldn't have a super power for that reason. Judgement can be clouded and fogged, mistakes are a vicious predator waiting to strike. With a power like life itself under my control, who would be there to keep me in check? To make sure I would use the power for good and not become an unstoppable monster of evil. After this realization I have decided I would take no power, let someone else make the mistake of accepting more responsibility than they can handle. We're only human for a reason.

Captain Draude
Commander
HMS Princess Margaret

Please, I should not die. I have so long to live yet, with all the years ahead of me, who knows what I'll accomplish, how many more ice cream eating contests I could win, how many more homeless I could assist, the rugby and football games I could still play. If you were to kill me now I would never achieve my dream of playing rugby for team Canada in the world cup and helping in defeating New Zealand at last. Not to mention my girlfriend from Pen Hi would be heart broken that I died at the bottom of the ocean, who will text her now? Of course there will need to be deaths of that, there is no doubt, but whatever happened to the saying "a captain should go down with her ship" you have lived, married and taught. What more is left for you in this world? I can still achieve great things, after I am finished with my schooling and I have my engineering degree I will create things to benefit the human race, I will make a difference. Would you like to continue your life as the one who stopped the person who will better the world for future generations? I don’t think anyone would. so why not let me live, I have the potential to do great things and the world has always stifled the great, be different, help the world change for the better. This is a big world, there is still so much to see, so many places to travel and people to meet, kill me now and I'll never experience these wonders. Speaking of wonder's, you look magnificent today, is it a new hair cut, it's lovely! By the way, wouldn't it be easier to kill someone smaller, someone who will put up less of a fight, like Isabelle, it would be easier to dispatch of her rather than having to fight me, and believe me, I'll fight. That shouldn’t be a problem though because i know you'll make the right choice. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Brandon Woods,
Your best friend,

Brandon, although athletic and always so energetic, always needs some downtime after suffering through Mrs. Draude's English class, and often finds himself drifting into sleep like a monstrous black bear, while she tries to teach him the way of the English masters. Perhaps if he spent less time out on the town and more time at home sleeping he would be able to store enough energy for Draude's taxing lectures. After a day of rugby and football Brandon likes to retire to his basement where he can play Skyrim and Battlefield 3 in peace and darkness so he can recover his strength.
